Now I have reading a new book called “Hero” by Ron Woods. This book is for my reading respond. The first chapter is about a kid that name is Dennis Leeper, he is boy, and he is a kid that other avoids him. But one day at school he has to do a raft project with one girl and one boy name Jamie, and Jerry but both of them don’t want to work with him but they can’t say any word.
While I have reading this story it remind me of my old friends that first he don’t have anyone that want to work with him so he feel sad but no one care him. In my opinion I think that everyone want someone to care he or she. This chapter makes me a bit sad because I wonder why his friends don’t want to work with him, what he has done or what wrong with him.

So you are saying that Dennis has to do a raft project with one boy, one girl, and Jerry? and you said both don't want to do work with him. How many people here?? i'm confusing!!
I agree with what you said about everyone wants others to care. People can't live by themselves.
Do you have any prediction after you read the first chapter?
When I saw the title of your book, I remembered about'I HAD A HERO' which was doing in English class. And I think that you have to use the reading strategies while you are reading the book.
You should try to guess why his friends leave him out.
